If I don't reset the PSD importer, the sprite is sliced incorrectly and the result looks like a disaster. My PSB is structured like this (I simplified my description with just enough repetition to give you an idea of what I've done):Īs I learn about how to structure my PSB layer groups into a sprite and then rig and animate it, I find myself tweaking my original Photoshop image and it feels like it happens all too often where I need to reset the imported sprite and it loses all of its bones. I am trying to use a single PSB for a character facing North, South, and East with different 'skins' that the game could swap out to let a player change the appearance of a given body part. Problem: I constantly have to re-rig my characters built using PSB layers and 'Use Layer Grouping.' I've watched some YouTube videos and they were enough to get started, but they aren't enough to sustain the process without driving me mad. I feel like my workflow is likely the issue. I've tried to Google for solutions, but I don't know what words to use to find people with similar problems.
